I am looking for a 24" spare tire rack for the back of 1923 or earlier touring/sedan or roadster/coupe, this spare tire rack is for the steel bud dish wheel. the bottom arms should have a spacing of aprox. 20".

Chuck, you might find that the roadster and tourer tire carriers are different as the spare is held at a different angle. I am just guessing though because the wood wheel 25" ones are, although it is only the lisence plate carrier that is affected.

The tire carriers are different, I have a 1923 touring and 1923 roadster, also have full set of bud 24" steel wheels and full set 24" wood spoke wheels, the spare tire carrier I find will determine which car gets the bud wheels.

I have several spare tire carriers for early DBs but I don't have a clue which one fits what. I likely have what you need if it is for wood spoke. I have one for a '24 steel wheel but none similar for earlier years.

Is there any way you can get a photo of one like you need?
