Does anyone have a secret for installing License Plate bumpers into the rear bumper of a 1970 Cutlass? Evrything I try is failing and I think I am going to tear them by pulling them through the square cutouts.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try soaking them in very hot soapy water and then pull them through.

Thank you for the suggestion. That did help. I ended up soaking them, then pushed them in from the side with a screwdriver.

Thanks again for your help.
