Where are you in Oregon? Any event planned in Oregon for that Day? I have a '29 Tudor in Madras.

Our MAFCA chapter ( Mckenzie A's, Eugene) will join a parade in Marcola during Mary Cole days, a summer festival. If you dont belong to a club you are still encouraged to take your A for a spin and show it off. If you don't belong to a club you might want to investigate the MAFCA High Desert chapter I think they are located in Bend.

Yes, I belong to the High Desert A's. Have not heard anything from them regarding this but I may well have missed it!

Since we will be out, here is another thought - if possible, take someone for a ride as well.

I don't have a local Model A Club here, so we did not have any organized event locally.

The family took off to our favorite restaurant for lunch in our 1929 Phaeton. We had a nice drive of about 5 miles under threatening cloudy skies. While we were inside, the Thunderstorm arrived. Without side curtains installed, the rains blew into the passenger compartment while we finished lunch. We drove back in the pouring rain and had a great time. The car needed to be washed anyway, since I had not washed it since we got back from the Sentimental Tour. It was a (damp) blast!
