Background to the "?":
My great uncle had a model T center door in the late 1940's... sold it to a guy in the 1950's as a complete running vehicle for $50. Over the years the guy took the car all apart, scattered the pieces throughout a barn (and lost some too) sat the body on the ground... well, the wood rotted, there's nothing left of the interior, some remains of a chassis is there. The engine is apart and the pieces are rusty and there is some body rot too. There are parts of another T there also... in slightly worse shape.
I would like to get a Model T up and running for my uncle to get in before anything happens since he is up in age - preferably center door... It would be nice if it were the actual car but not necessary and the car does not need to be even close to a show car.
What do you think is a fair price for the parts and pieces of the "T"'s in the barn for the "restore it" option? How much do you think it would cost to make something like this a driver? and What do you think a driving one would set me back?
I do have photos of the parts and pieces if you think it is necessary.
Thanks,
