OK, so I replaced the heater hoses. It was a little difficult getting to the fittings at the heater core, but I got it. However while I was at it I noticed that there is another short hose in there as well. I can see the one end where it attaches at the heater core just below the return hose. I'm not sure where the other end attaches to yet. So what's it for? And can it be removed and replaced without taking off the fender. And I mean by a human, not some snake armed extraterrestrial wrench monkey. What were they thinking?? Kinda like the vacuum can on the other side. I haven't even started trying to see if I can get to that yet.

If you have to get to the heater core again, take the right front wheel off and set the car on a jack stand. The inner fender just in front of the heater core is designed for easy removal from under the fender giving easy access to the heater core.
