I've had this Oldsmobile mirror around for many years after my dad had it for many years and was wondering if it is of any value to anyone. It's hard to tell by the pics but the glass is not broken or chipped. It looks like the silvering or whatever on the back is deteriorating and I don't know if it can be restored.
The gold emblem in the center says Oldsmobile and the 6 write on areas say battery, change oil, lubrication, sp'k plugs, tune motor and mileage. These areas are roughened to be able to write on.
The back has 2 clips to go over a sun visor.
Since I'm not an Olds guy I know nothing about this accessory nor the vintage. I'm guessing 50's but possibly earlier.
