Skip i dont know about the desoto but the meadowbrook and coronet both used the same 123 and a 1/2" wheel base chassis so should be the same.

The 1949 DeSoto and Chrysler Royal/Windsor were on a 125½" wheelbase, two inches more than the Dodge Meadowbrook/Coronet/(Custom in Canada). The 2" difference was all in the front clip ahead of the firewall.
One bit of good news, though. Except for the 1949-52 wagons, all 6-cylinder 1949-52 Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto and Chrysler models gas tanks interchange.

The last of the special built pedal cars will be going up for sale at the RM Auctions in Scottsdale in January. Built by the renown restorer Fran Roxas, this "Dusey" is truly is another work of art.
