They rebuild them but it cost just about as much as the new one does. Holley used to and they still might I'm not sure.

Pony Carbs has an excellent reputation, so will certainly be interested to see how their reproduction holds up.

There are currently "reproductions" available for some other vehicles (Ford, Chevrolet, Jeep, etc.); that after 500 or so miles have a throttle body resembling a rocking chair!
