does anyone know what other gas tanks will fit a 1950 meadowbrook ?. would a 50 coronet, wayfarer or desoto custom four door fit ?. thanks for any help , skip.

i dont know about the desoto but the meadowbrook and coronet both used the same 123 and a 1/2" wheel base chassis so should be the same.

The 1949 DeSoto and Chrysler Royal/Windsor were on a 125˝" wheelbase, two inches more than the Dodge Meadowbrook/Coronet/(Custom in Canada). The 2" difference was all in the front clip ahead of the firewall.

One bit of good news, though. Except for the 1949-52 wagons, all 6-cylinder 1949-52 Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto and Chrysler models gas tanks interchange.
