My speedo is dorked up(technical term, I know). It pegs to about 120 whenever I go about 10 miles an hour or better. Sometimes it will rest at 40 when I'm standing still. I've seen/heard lots of this kinda problem with these. Is there a common ailment and hopefully a cure?

I've got the speed minder set to 20 so it hardly ever buzzes anymore. Sometimes when I'm at a stop. One of these days I'm gonna pull the wire off that bugger. At least until when/if I ever get the speedo fixed.

Call Alan Kriss. 570-376-3952. He specializes in them, his work is flawless and quite reasonable. He also repairs/restores other instruments and radios.......Bob

I would take that advise...one person I know had his repaired by a general shop, and it does what yours is doing now. Oddly, mine still works pretty well and is only 5 mph off!
