Does anyone know what happened with the GMO show on May 4th? The website said nothing about the show being canceled but after driving over 2 hours from Connecticut I arrived to find no one there! Why wasn't this posted on the site?!!!

Possibly because we don't have anyone from EMass GMO chapter on the site. I can't think of anyone offhand.

Was there a contact number or email on the flyer? Was there bad weather that day, or a rain date listed? I've learned it the hard way too; always call before starting out to a show more than an hour away. Not that the drive isn't good for the car...

Quote:
"That's a strange concept, Son" said my father as he sampled the day's run of silvery-clear moonshine for taste and quality. "Good 'shine, that. Your grandpap would be proud that the gift has passed on to another generation. But yes, it's real strange that some folks feel like a varmint has more right to illegally inhabit and destroy your property than you have to prevent it from doing it."

"Come to think of it, that's why your Uncle Reade sold off all them rental houses he had. It was costing him more to fix what the varmints tore up than he was making off 'em. And the govamint wouldn't let him evict them."

VERY VERY un P.C. That'll never ever fly in todays "but I'm a victim" society.

PS.......Using taste, quality and moonshine in the same sentence is an oxymoron. Trust me.........Bob

There was a contact number, I called it when I got there to find out whats going on, and the voice on the other end just said yeah it got canceled.

There was no rain date, its rain or shine, thats what it said on the GMO website, in the OCA events listing, and in the OCA magazine. I even called home to have someone check the website while I was at the show location and it still said rain or shine. There was some AM rain but it ended up being a great day.
