What kind of engine and drive train does the Peerless have? Was it borrowed from another make or something they created? Can you post (or send me photos of the interior and the engine compartment) more photos.
My email is pai01@aol.com
Thanks.........Paul

It would have been a Triumph four-cylinder from a TR-3, originally.

Hello Peerless GT owner. I have a 1958 GT that I am restoring, there were about 250 GT's built and 50 with left hand drive that were brought to the USA. The drive train is Triumph, however several owners pulled the 4 cylinder engine and put small block V-8's in and raced them. There is a couple of problems they had, the tube frames could rust through and there is a 19 gallon fuel tank under each door sil with no protection. And of course the Prince of Darkness Lucas electrical system. Other than that they are a neat car.
