Dear All,

I am looking for a distributor cap for my 1934 super 8. Anyone have a spare they want to sell? Anyone know of a repro? It is a Northeast distributor 5033450.

Thanks for your help.

Tom

I have a cap, but I think it's for a 1929 or '30. How an you tell what year one is for?

That is definitely for a 30. It looks just like the one on my 30. The cap for the 34 is much larger and the plug wires come out both sides (if I remember correctly).

It looks like the same distributor was used on the 10th series cars as well. Not sure about the 9th series, as my Chilton's doesn't go back that far. And they changed to a different distributor for the 12th series.

Cheers,

Tom
