I have an old 1934 V8 pickup that has been sitting for decades and we are trying to get it started. Can you tell if these were negative or positive gound? We think it is for sure a 6volt system. The engine turns over and pretty sure we can get it to fire with a good jump.

All of the flathead V8's are 6 volt positive ground.
