if i mount a inline fuel filter along the frame will points be deducted.

If it is found by any of the judges, we do help each other when we judge, it will be deducted for. And even as little as one point deduction can keep you from getting an award that you might otherwise earn. Only you can decide what to do.

I doubt if an AACA judge useing proper technique would find a well hidden fuel filter. But your '29 should have a factory filter even if only a screen. No matter how many filters you have they will still get dirty. Clean the fuel system and be carefull about dirt getting into the tank and you won't need non factory filters.

Nearchocolatetown is right.... but if you must, mount it up high out of sight inside the frame rails and paint it black to match the frame. Some black paint will work wonders hiding stuff along the inside of the frame.
