Went to an estate auction outside Charlotte, NC yesterday, it had been tied up for some reason since 1975. These cars had been sitting in a barn since the 1950's. The photos actually make the cars look better than they really were, the tudor was super rusty, the doodlebug was really beat and the T coupe was fair, but the rear was super rusty and obviously missing tons of parts. I think rodders bought all of them.

I thought the prices were high, opinions?

1931 tudor sold for $2600.plus buyers premium

T Coupe sold for $1900. plus premium.

Doodlebug A sold for $1500. plus premium.

I am in southeastern NC. I could not make it to that auction since we had our Annual Chapter Show yesterday. Good to see that I did not miss anything since I certainly would not want to pay those prices for that condition.

Here is a link that will be good for a couple weeks to the rest of my photos.

High prices for what appear to be junkyard or field cars. I will say if the tudor body is solid they are in demand around here by both rodders and restorers. Tough to tell, but the actual T coupe body looked sound in the picture.

The tudor body was not real solid in my opinion, it needed a complete subframe and patch panels all around the lower body and the fenders and shields were all trash. The front half of the T coupe was decent but the rear deck area was very rusty, the rear of it must have stuck out of the barn for 50 years.
