I'm working on my DK-8 engine and would like to find out the proper torque spec's for the connecting rods. I'm guessing 40 ft/lbs. Please help if you know.

Larry,
Look up Bolt torque on google.
There's lots of good charts.
I just made the sameinquiry for my 1930 DeSoto Model CF 8 Cylinder.

3/8 X24 Rod Bolts assuming grade 5.
Plain bolt torque is 35 ft. lbs.

I think that your 40 ft. lbs. is right in the ball park!

I've only seen a coouple at East Coast Shows.
Got to get hustling on this build.
It's going to Cumberland in the DPC Class.
Only 30 days to go!
Your DK-8 is pretty rare also!
