I need to know what the green 401/425 nailhead engine color is called and possibly where it can be obtained...?

It is called Buick Green. Both CARS, Inc. and Bob's Automobilia sell it. They both advertise in the Buick Bugle.

I have been useing Orr-Lac Ford Green # 959 for years. Cheap compared to designer paint . I also use there semi flat / semi gloss black . Excellent to work with. I will try and post a pic. . If you cant find it at your local parts store call the co.

Yes. I used their black and silver about 8 years ago (maybe more...I suffer from CRS symdrome). It worked well for me. Absolutely no complaints, and tough as nails.
If you deicde to use it, follow the directions, especially the part about wearing gloves. Once you get it on your skin, it's there for days. I learned that lesson the hard way. crazy

Hi,

I am using the POR15 Buick Green, see valve cover which is painted with the POR15 and compare to the top side of the engine block, which is still original color.
