Has anyone installed cup-holders in a TC?
A nice spot may be the storage area below the radio but I may never get one to fit properly. Any suggestions would be appreciated, at lease I would know if one could fit or not.

There is a step by step that was displayed here in the past, that slips into the "Cubby". There is also a double cupholder made of plexiglass that slips over the console directly on top of the ashtray. The guy that makes them advertises in the TC America newsletter. I personally like the tinted plexiglass one..

ever see a ferrari with cup holders or a lambo? Drive your car, when thirsty stop for a latte at a nice road side stand.

A block of wood with a glued on plastic pipe cap of the right diameter in the ash tray works for me.

hopefully you used some wood stained to match the dash, not a piece of old 2x6 with a hole saber sawed out of it.

No paint - I used a 4X4X1" piece of pine with the corner knocked off to fit in the ash tray. Drilled a hole in the pipe cap to screw it to the piece of wood. A bit of white caluking completed the elegent ensambel.

Aw shucks. I thought I was being clever putting some heavy duty velcro on a Nalgene bottle and glueing the matching strip on the dash and just sticking the bottle right there next to the radio.

Just kidding! grin
