So, we still have some snow here...I've had cabin fever for a while...I even went a couple of months ago to look at an '86 Regal T-type - nice car, but I think a bit too much money considering it needed a paint job.
Anyway, here are some of the temptations that have been driving me batty...I need spring here so I can go and get the Wildcat out of storage and scratch the Buick itch....
Well, this one doesn't tempt me, but it looks like a nice body -
1940 Buick custom I e-mailed with the owner of this
'76 pace car replica when the price was $2000 higher...it is in need of a full restoration, having some rust, so body and paint, with the graphics done somehow (pinstripe artist or possibly paintbrushed), going to likely cost over ten grand.
This '56 Special doesn't tempt me at all, primarily because I'm the one trying to sell it.
Brace yourself Lamar - I found out about this
'54 Special today...having the safety inspection done means it can be licensed and driven away...I mentioned this one to "The Boss" after supper...she didn't seem terribly amused, but if the car is as good as the photo makes it appear, I'd say it could be a bargain for a nice driver, even if it is a four door sedan. Assuming it has a Dynaflow, it would be another car that Suzanne could drive...I think she'd enjoy it...mind you if it doesn't have power steering, perhaps less so.
Sigh.
Please Mr. Sun, melt the snow so I can play with my own cars and don't have to be tempted all the time.
Now, I think it is time to be off and send a note to the fellow selling that '54.
