I bet you've covered this subject a thousand times...but it's NEW to me. I can't find a master cylinder rebuilding kit ANYWHERE for my 56 Buick Riviera Special 2 dr. hardtop. Ebay, Kanter, and others...what do the "Buick" guys do...convert to a different Master Cylinder? Thanks!

I had my power one rebuilt by a company in California. Found em through Hemmings. I would not be surprised to find a manual cylinder is harder to get done. Mostly because I think there were a lot less of them to begin with.

Good luck

Victor,

Call Elwood Dapp in Manchester, PA. at 717-266-5050 and ask him if he'll sell you a kit. I know he has all the parts readily available there. He mostly rebuilds the cylinders himself, but it's possible he might do this for you, if you insist on doing it yourself.
