Wanted for 1918 Maxwell rear springs, 2 front spring bolts and 4 Rear Spring shackel bolts. Need 2 brake drums and/or 1 good complete rear end. When replying please mark as Maxwell parts.
I really can't say for sure. I'm not near my parts books as I'm still out of town. I do know that the 1918 was a half elliptic rear suspension while your 1916 has three quarter elliptic rear springs.I suppose they could have used old stock but I would think even if they had the same dimensions they would have different spring rates. If you go back to Googles Dykes book you can look these terms up.
The last of the special built pedal cars will be going up for sale at the RM Auctions in Scottsdale in January. Built by the renown restorer Fran Roxas, this "Dusey" is truly is another work of art.
