My, no, OUR March-April AACA Magazine arrived in my mailbox today. I had to look over Gloria's shoulder for 5 minutes before she would let me have it. crazy

All I did was let Gloria see Sharon Lee "driving" her and Leonard's 1946 Indian Motorcycle. confused That's all it takes to get Gloria's attention sometimes.

But, "WE the People!" What a great story line, Steve. With all of the clothes cleaning and Annual Meeting Literature to put up, clean up and put away, I'm just now getting around to reflecting on the whirlwind of activities that all of us enjoyed during this year's Annual Meeting.

We the People, was how Steve thanked everyone for a job well done. Well put! All of us enjoy a great convention each year, but often we forget about the behind-the-scenes workers, planners, and seminar presenters that actually make for a smooth weekend. I'll take this time to thank everyone that helped me have a memorable weekend. Thanks Guys!

Oh, and a great Magazine West. Watch out for that funny streak that I see arising in you, though. They'll start thinking you're as crazy as me. cool grin

West, Your coverage of the Annual Award Winners in the current issue was THE BEST EVER! Taking the time to post the history of most of the cars was long overdue. Nice to see so many cars that are truely rare and under the same owners care for so many years. thank you!

I started doing that for last year's National Award winners, but was unsatisfied with the results. Thanks for recognizing how much work it took to put that issue together.

West, If you have the time maybe you could expand on the history of the former Rod Blood and George Waterman owned cars, and others. People new to AACA should know about early collectors who had the forsight to save these cars in the early years of of our hobby. The fact that it has taken so long to finally see them restored must be a story in itself.

Someone would have to do it for me, cuz I'm one of those who has just recently become aware of Rod Blood. I've heard of Barney Pollard, but even in that case I don't know enough to make a story.
As you are aware I've been publishing several photos taken during the early years that Rod Blood had in his collection (courtesy of Bob Turnquist). I've got more, too.
