It took 4 1/2 years for the Olds. Now on to the 60 Impala.

Oohhh... So nice! Great color choice for that car. Good luck with her.

Oh, and I noticed you installed a new window and door in your garage and organized the wall too. We could use someone like you around here.

Actually I built a whole new shop! The old shop, where this project started, is still there. But it's used for storage now.
Thanks for the compliments. The 455 in it runs out fine.

I was thinking about going with red line tires and the the "Dog Dish" hubcaps this year. Just to give it a different look. What do you people think?

The car came out great, I like the understated look, with the just slightly wider wheels, the 8 inchers that came on the factory order fire and police cars. If you can't find um these guys can make them for you Rallyamerica.com

Thanks Pat! I've received a lot of compliments on the lack of chrome look. The car is a F/85 plain jane car. And thats the way I restored it. When I got it it had a 6cyl, no radio and the 2spd Jetaway. It now has a 455 with a 400 behind it and 12 bolt posi. I had it at the Olds Nationals in Bowling green. Got 14.6 MPG on the 1700 mile round trip. I didn't think that was too bad! I do have wider tires on the rear since this pic was taken. I think the redline tires with the dog dis caps will look good. Here's a pic of the interior. (It's two shades of gray. Not white like it looks in the pic)
