Hope this cartoon isn't the case for the Sentimental Tour. I'm hoping that the tour will be a history lesson, therefore thought is was it was cute.(but sadly frown true)

That might get me through one day of the tour. $3.90 for diesel sucks! But that's what I'll be driving that week. Although I'm not the offical sweep vehicle, since I'm going to be on the route as the webmaster for both regions and the editor for Alamance and doing the Sentimental Star, I'll be carrying tools, gas, etc. so if someone towards the front of the group has problems, they don't have to wait on the sweep vehicle to start try to get fixed.

I'll keep that in mind, even though I'm driving a Chevy, and as you know, they NEVER break down! grin

I ran the route again this morning. filled up first. Diesel $3.899/ gal, Unleaded $3.199. Thursday's route is about 3 hours seat time, but it short run, long run, long run, short, short. If you don't have power steering you'll want to tone up those arm muscles, you'll need it. Been thinking abour a trivia question. How many curves are in this road? You spend more time turning than going straight on one of the roads.

It's the cartoon for March 14th, right? I had to seach back though them to find the one you were talking about. (Nice to know there is another "Pluggers" fan out there. Funny that there are quite a few that relate to our hobby.)

you're the one that got me hooked on them. I have my broswer set with tabs and one of them opens to the Pluggers site. I even bought the Pluggers book!

a broswer is Internet Expoler, Netscape, FireFox, etc. It is the program you use to view things on the internet, not to be confused with your ISP (internet Service Provider) like Time Warner's Road Runner, Earthlink, AOL, etc. which gives you the electronic pathway to access the internet.

Wayne, you sound like a true Northern Necker -- aren't most of 'em Chevy-men, and 95% of the rest Ford guys?
