Anyone have any info on this tire guage? I was cleaning up somethings in my deceased brothers shop and I found this in a box with some NOS vintage wiper blades. No date on the box. It might be made up to look older than it is. Some promotional gimmick maybe?

This is the real thing, Badger Guy. The Schrader Valve company has been around almost forever, in terms of supplying air-related items needed to operate and maintain vehicles. Among other things, they made many different models of tire pressure gauges. Your particular tire gauge dates to the late 1930's or early 1940's. It is unusual to find one of these in its original, four-color consumer box. For many collectors, the box will have more value than the tire gauge itself (although your brother's gauge looks to be in wonderful condition).

I bet your brother would like to see this gauge and box find its way to your shop shelf or office area. Best from another Badger guy, John in Plover, Wisconsin
