My catalog for Bob's Automobilia lists water pumps "1934-1940" and there are two separate pumps, one is for series 40 only, the other for 60,70,80,90. So I would guess that yes it will work. What about the series 50? I definitely recall that being mentioned in discussion before, I thought that was the Super and LATER the 70 became the super. Someone will correct me! laugh

But 40 60 70 80 90 are the only models mentioned in the two waterpump descriptions for that time period. 1941-49 the pump they list fits all models. Same with 1950-53 all straight 8 models.

The Buick super came out mid year, and used the 248 CI engine. The 60-70-80-90- all were 320 CI engines. The water pumps will not interchange between the small and big engines.
