I want to replace the chrome on my 68 442 front grill over head lights. Do I have to take the fenders off?
thanks

Are you talking about the "L" shaped chrome at the leading edge of the front fenders? If so, no, you don't need to remove the fenders. You need a deep socket and an extension. There are three or four (it's been a while) speed nuts that screw over molded posts on the backside of the trim. You need to feel in the nose of the fender to find these posts then slip the socket over the post and loosen the nut.
