Hi,where on a 302cu.in. engine block is the location of the motor id # I`d like to find out what year it(302) was manufactured; there is this 302 where a 351 should be!! Thank You for a reply!!!

TOM,

THE ENGINE BLOCK NUMBER IS ON THE R/H SIDE ABOVE THE
STARTER. SHOULD BE C8OE-6015-A. IF THERE IS A METAL TAG
STILL ATTACHED TO THE COIL BRACKET, THERE IS A DATE CODE
ON IT.
