Apparently your tech support is slack. My mom's tech support never gets to call in sick. She'll supply a  trash can if necessary while I fix her computer.

Had to fix it after supper last night then about 9PM got a call, "what happened to my computer? It's doing strange things".... Told her how to correct the problem over the phone.

It's easy West, reach under desk and remove all plugs from the outlet!!  Seroiusly, the problem that evening wasn't a hard one to fix. When she has fairly simple problems like that, I'd get on my comuter that has the smae programs/operating system and walk her through it.
