Here is my 1978 Lincoln Mark V! and a brief history!:

1978: My aunt's parents by the Mark V complete with 8 track and the optional carriage top, they add a tow hitch and tow a horse trailer with it, they only put about 30,000 mile on it between 1978 and 2000

Early 1980's-2000: The Lincoln resides in my Aunt's parent's garage until they decide to give it to my Uncle.

2000: They give it to my Uncle and it still has the orig. paint and interior, and it is in perfect condition

2000-2006: my Uncle drives it and puts 100,000 miles on it and leaves it outside, and the paint and top go bad and the air and other mechanicals stop working.

2006: I buy the MKV and begin repairs, and put it into daily service but, it gets 10mpgs! but, it is driven only locally.

2007: a new paintjob and air conditioning repairs and is driven daily!

2008: still driven daily! just need a vinyl top! and the adventure continues!.......
