It has been brought to my attention that a certain magazine editor is claiming to be snowed in today. My local spies have observed him outside cleaning out all of the neighborhood's driveways, while the poor neighborhood husbands/boyfriends are toiling away on the job. confused whistle grin

Umm!????????????? confused cool

Please send him over here when he is done. Bill shoveled out before he left for the chiropractor's office and most of it has filled in while he's been gone. shocked

How much on the ground, Susan?

My brother called from Keyser, WV at about 10 am this morning and they didn't have anything over there at that time!

I was stationed at ft.useless VA in 1961,they had NO sno removal equipment and if we got a half in of sno.they closed the roads.Them rebs may have learned all about nascar by hauling shine, but a four lane h/way wasnt wide enough with a dusting of sno.

Somewhere around three inches and still snowing.

Bill had a hard time getting off of our hill (private road for six houses up on our hill) with our "new" '06 Liberty because of ice that was under the snow.

It wanted to slide even in 4-wheel drive. shocked He had to turn the electronic traction controls off. Then it went just fine. smile Trouble is you have to turn them off each time you re-fire the engine since they turn back on automatically. crazy

Whatever he was looking for, it sure seems like he is having the time of his life. Skip the St. Bernard, I want a Dalmatian to come looking for me. He'll get there quicker. grin

Only if he's on a fire truck and the traffic is light to moderate.

If the dog fell off of the beer wagon, he'll most likely be too drunk to respond in a timely manner grin grin

Good stuff!

I dropped off the radio from my 40 Buick today to get it rebuilt. I was told that I would be able to drive with a radio in two to three weeks! Right! We've had an almost record setting snowfall this December (off by less than an inch).

My step-daughter lives in Hudson, Mass. And she is already sick of all the snow. Luckily this year she gets to work from home so she does not have to go out to do her job. She is a sales consultant for Scholastic Book Fairs.
