How much on the ground, Susan?
My brother called from Keyser, WV at about 10 am this morning and they didn't have anything over there at that time!

I was stationed at ft.useless VA in 1961,they had NO sno removal equipment and if we got a half in of sno.they closed the roads.Them rebs may have learned all about nascar by hauling shine, but a four lane h/way wasnt wide enough with a dusting of sno.

[quote=R W Burgess][quote]How much on the ground, Susan?/quote] Somewhere around three inches and still snowing. Bill had a hard time getting off of our hill (private road for six houses up on our hill) with our "new" '06 Liberty because of ice that was under the snow. It wanted to slide even in 4-wheel drive. He had to turn the electronic traction controls off. Then it went just fine. Trouble is you have to turn them off each time you re-fire the engine since they turn back on automatically.

Was that the Anheuser-Busch Dalmation looking for his buried beer wagon?? OR Is that the firehouse dog looking for his lost white fire truck?? Whatever he was looking for, it sure seems like he is having the time of his life. Skip the St. Bernard, I want a Dalmatian to come looking for me. He'll get there quicker.

Skip the St. Bernard, I want a Dalmatian to come looking for me. He'll get there quicker Only if he's on a fire truck and the traffic is light to moderate. If the dog fell off of the beer wagon, he'll most likely be too drunk to respond in a timely manner

My step-daughter lives in Hudson, Mass. And she is already sick of all the snow. Luckily this year she gets to work from home so she does not have to go out to do her job. She is a sales consultant for Scholastic Book Fairs.

The last of the special built pedal cars will be going up for sale at the RM Auctions in Scottsdale in January. Built by the renown restorer Fran Roxas, this "Dusey" is truly is another work of art.
