Hi- this is a project of a good friend of mine, an early Stoddard Dayton speed car, there are numerous videos of the restoration if you go to youtube and search "stoddard dayton". Enjoy! David Coco, Winchester Va.

Yes, it is Greg Cone; he researched what he wanted and bought this car in pieces back in the 70's, and is now getting it together. He put it together in primer and got it running, it is now getting painted and put together for good. He is a craftsman and machinist of great talent, as he needs parts, he makes them. It is, I think, a 50 HP car, and with the hemi engine and external valves and rockers, it is quite a sight and sound running! Happy motoring, David Coco

I had the remains of one back in the 80's. If the local junk man didn't haul the motor, radiator, and trans away in 1939 I would have had something to work with.
I Sold it to a fellow in Colorado.

Stoddard also was the first to use a Knight sleeve valve engine which is what it is belived my car had according to the old fellow who owned it.

Still would love to own one someday that is roadable or mostly complete.

The car of my dreams..... Dave! smile
