My dad acquired this car quite a while back. He passed away 3 years ago, and my mom is thinking of selling it now. It has sat at my auto shop (formerly dad's shop) for so many years, it would be strange to have it not be there anymore. That didn't work --- here's a link instead: http://picasaweb.google.com/PhippsAuto/JordanPics You can click through the other photos that are in this same photo album, I think, and see my dad's 1951 Ford-a-lac (has a Cadillac motor in it)and me and my boys. Ooh, ooh, whats the story on the little Buick Special in the picture. I seem to remember someone needing a fuel line, was that you. Did you ever find one. I enjoyed looking at the pictures of the kids and the cars. Use to, folks would make a big deal of having pictures of them and their cars. Don't see that much anymore.

Yes, that was me looking for the fuel line. Never found one, but I'll make one. That car is looking pretty good right about now. It's not mine, but I've had fun working on it for a customer. Might become a new sideline for me. (My normal work is general car repair.) I'll post pictures of the Special when I'm through with it.
The 1951 Ford was my dad's first car; he was the 2nd owner of it. He took a lot of pride in that car; it was his "show-off" car and still gets plenty of attention when I take it out. Took it to Texas Motor Speedway to run laps for charity, and quite a few people came by to look at it.
