I have a 71 Cutlass convertible with fitings for headrests on top of the rear seat. Anyone know if this was factory? Are the headrests available anywhere?
Thanks.

Hmm. Never heard of rear headrests, but that don't mean they couldn't be had. They were offering rear shoulder belts back then.

I'll try to look thru the 71 tech bulletins and see if rear seat headrests were offered at any time. I suppose a good trim shop could have put the headrest stuff from a front seat into the rear backrest.

Maybe they were added? They are set up for 2 round standards instead of the wide flat standard on the front Cutlass bench.
Thanks,
