I am in the process of overhauling my 1965 425 engine. Any suggestion on what brand red paint to purchase? Is the air filter assemply a different color red? Thanks.

Both shades of red are available from Fusick Automotive.

Fusick is a bit pricy for their paint. Was wondering if there was another option. Also, any recommendation regarding painting the exhaust manifold (color, brand paint, etc)? The car is a 1965 Dynamic 88.

I just looked at a Bill Hirsch ad and he doesn't offer Oldsmobile red.

hey you are right but I'd email him just to be certain-I needed some olds blue metallic and he sent me some though he didn't advertise it since the original blue can vary-he might have some insight on it.
