Welcome aboard! The fuel filter is found in the sediment bowl on the bottom side of your fuel pump. It's a GF124 and pretty available; try NAPA.

bryan. thanks for the reply. i was under the impression that in 57 there was a first design fuel pump with the glass bowl encasing the gf 124 filter element and a second design AC pump that didn't have a filter incorporated in the pump. my 57 fiesta is a late may build date and has the second design pump. a previous owner inserted an inline generic fuel filter between the pump and carb. i ended up replacing the generic filter with an AC Domed fuel filter just before the carb. probably not oiriginal but i hate to run gas into the carb that isn't filtered. thanks angain, mike
