Yesterday I removed my Delco Coil (All plug Poles on the right) in order to test the Magnovox original coil (3 poles on each side). I did this due to a problem that came up with regard to the length of my packard wires, #'s 1,3 and 5.
My problem now is that I failed to mark the Delco poles prior to removing it. I just put the Delco coil back on but am now not sure of the positioning. Here is how I have the wires now. Starting at the top pole and going down I have them in: 6,5,2,3,4,1. order. The engine sounds a little rough but I'm not getting any backfire or anything. Is this the correct order? If not I need to look elseware as to why I'ts not running as smooth as before.
