I have waited long enough ans I want to tackle this problem, but looking for help in diagnostics. 1990 Convertible does not have any interior lights EVER. Also, is the key hole does not illuminate and no trunk light. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'd check the fuses first (I think it's #5).
Next, in your manual (pg 8D-28), It shows a simple check to see if the BCM is "awake". and directs you to check your CPS (with a pretty good diag chart). The procedure is simple and all you really need is a voltmeter (and knowledge of how to use one), a T-15 torx, a long handled (about 8" or more) wide flat head screwdriver (for gently prying off the dash face and a little patience (so you don't mess things up totally). If you wound up needing the procedure and can't find it in your manual, email me and I'll send it to you. Good luck and I hope this helps.
