I finally had enough of the ABS light being on constantly, so I got out the manual and did some investigation. The light had been on constantly until a week ago when the wife reported it had gone off for a day or two. Now knowing it was intermittent (and the "Brake" light was not illuminated) I zeroed in on the relays under the hood. Sure enough, the one (of three) farthest toward the driver's side of the relay holder had white corrosion on the outside and on each terminal. After cleaning the relay and its terminals, I plugged it back in. Sure enough, the light only comes on during the initial start-up phase, then it's out for good. Hope this helps somebody!
