I,m looking for information on an Oldsmobile
Car Watch. I have been told that it went in
the center of the steering wheel and that the
normal act of steering wound the clock.
No one seems to know the year of Oldsmobile that it may of came out of. The one I have is in very good working order , I just can't seem to find anyone with information on it . Any help ?

I was an Oldsmobile mechanic in the fifties and remember that clock quite well. Actually it was a watch. A self-winding 15-jewel Swiss Maar watch. It was an option on the 1952 Oldsmobiles. At a time when ordinary car clocks required frequent repair, this little beauty just kept on ticking and ticking.
namps@aol.com
