As previously promised, if this works here are some pics of my 29. If it works it's because of the patience of Bry, if it doesn't I goofed.
Vimg]http://neptune.spacebears.com/temp/Pont1.jpg[/img]

A good looking car! The wheels look a little newer than 1929, was GM just that much ahead of Ford & Chrysler on the larger center diameter?

Yes Pontiac continually increased wheel and tire sizes from it's inception in 1926 until it maxed for a while in 1933. It also has a fuel pump, real shocks, electric starter, four wheel brakes and a fuel gauge as standard equipment, the closed cars also had trany locks. One would think that feature would have been on the open cars but not so. It's most antiqated feature is the updraft carb. It has a ride that is closer to Caddy than Chevy. Mine sold for a shocking $775.00 half of it's parent Oakland who of course went out of business.

Bob~~A real nice car. When I always see a roadster like yours (if it is not a Model A)I am thinking back to my 1929 Chrysler 75 roadster. Bad thing that I sold it.

------------------
Thomas Borchers
Member of AACA # 004829
HCCA and MAFCA
[This message has been edited by ThomasBorchers (edited 07-12-2000).]

I'm afraid that would have been a keeper for me. I just love the lines in that era. Chrysler had a lot going for it in that medium price range.

I see you got the other picture on, Bob. Hey, Binger, you stole my line!!!
I got the logo to the guy, Dan. Any suggestions as to what we may want to put on the plates. I just got a scanner, so as soon as he brings me something I'll send it out to you.

Bob,
The wire wheels - - are they a 6 bolt patern? If so, would they be the same as the Chevy wheels. They look like they might be the same as Chevys of the early 30's
Oh yes, don't pay any attention to Hoover, he is just trying to get me in trouble. I don't need any help - - I can do that all by myself.
Dan
