Is anyone else have problems with the forum server being Very slow? And sometime it never finishes uploading pages, It just sits there? (mainly after entering a post or editing a Post) This has been happening for the last few days, and I'm not having any problems with other websites. Just wondering if it is only me or is everyone seeing this? Could it have something to do with the new security software?

BTW, Is the Spell Checker Ever Returning?

It is my observation that after the recent "upgrade", the response is definitely slower. But, hey, isn't that what "upgrades" are for? Just ask Microsoft!

Still wondering about the Spell Checker and the Slow page updates?

Hey, if we Don't have an Admin, Does that Mean that we can be 'Wild and Crazy Guys'?

Hmm? Just noticed the site won't allow me to change avatars anymore as I have been prone to do. All it will allow is no avatar or the cheezy generic ones.
Signature is functional and user modifyable however.

Also there is no designation of topics you've read before in red colored numbers as before.

Oh well........

Hey guys. Peter and I live here in Tucson and the pace of life here is a bit slower. They don't call it the 'Old Pueblo' for nuthin (spell check-what is that again?) and besides it's a bit hot here (102, but it is a dry heat!) and we have muchas margaritas to drink and BTW, the power actually went out twice last evening here in the valley. So, knowing Peter and the AACA, it will get done. Adios, time for a Tucson siesta!!!

Hey guys! I just got a message from the "head guru" of web site operations.

He promised me everything would be up to speed by Sunday morning!???

Wait! He didn't say which week!

Seriously, Peter is still working on issues involving the site.

Happy weekend everyone,
Wayne

On the plus side the "quick reply" is long overdue so one person can make one reply encompassing responses to many other posters. It was silly before when you could see only one message to reply to so some goofy people made multiple responses.

Still no avatar working though.

Still got no way to put in avatar and notice the "topics read" in parenthesis in red are no longer in each forum topic but rather in the main menu where they are un-necessary. Can the rest of you change avatars? My menu will not.

The 'Change Avatar' is in the 'Personal Information' menu.
I didn't try it, but it's there. (I was afraid to try it, didn't want to loose my Avatar).
