I have a 1975 Miller-Meteor Cadillac ambulance. It has a valid Texas title, and has never been registered in California. The DMV informed me that only CA registered cars of 1975 vintage are exempt from smog requirements. I have researched the DMV website, and can not find any referece to smog laws for out of state cars of my era vehicle. I'm seeking information from CA car collectors who know about the current requirements.

Thanks, Robert

I'm a Ca. smog check tech and I do know that any vehicle less than 30 yrs old has to pass the test, also I think anything coming in from out of state has to be verified that all original smog equipment is in place and operational. Good luck, Kenny
