Coat hooks in rear of 53 Buick 2 door hardtop

I have a 1953 Buick Special 2 door Riviera Hardtop, Model 45R. The interior was restored and I notice that it has no chrome coat hooks in the rear passenger compartment. Were these supplied originally by Buick or were they an option?
