If I'm not mistaken, the 78 Riv or last RWD Riv is on a B-body Chassis.

The Caprice/Impala, LeSabre, Olds 88, should work. (I left off the Pontiac, because the had several models in various years use the B-body chassis)

This B-body was made from 77-90 with the "squared off body style"

What's "wrong" with your existing column?

Just curious . . .

bought car recently and previous owner tried to fix pivot part for turn signals. it is cast and 1 ear is broken. also believe some parts missing. have looked in my Buick books and does not show a clear enough picture. would like to have 1 to take apart to see how it works and also to have some spare parts.
