Thanks for joining the group. I have a '32 50 series, so I am not sure but you probably have the steel manifold over the top of the head similar to the later, larger engines (although these are 8 cylinder engines). I know of several people searching for the later manifolds, which are no longer available from Bob's, so someone should be working on these. I know someone with a shop, and several late 30's cars and extra engines, so he may have a spare. He is too busy to use the site. I will check with him. I suppose we need to know which size engine you have as I think there were two in 1928. I will let you know depending on other responses.

bobsautoamobilia.com for the water manifold and the local hardware store for cork to cut your own pan gasket. If you put any kind of adheasive on the cork when you install it, make sure that you only put it on one side of the gasket. Use something like permatex on the other side so you can get the pan off if you ever have to do that again.

I believe Bob's Automoblia no longer has the manifolds and others are trying to work to see if the previous manufacturer will either make more or will part with their jigs/molds. I will try to follow up. I do not need one but know someone that does.
