Can someone clarify the correct wheel size for the '41 Buick Special, Model 47? It is a series 40A and according to which source you believe they came with either a 16x5 wheel with 6.50-16 tire or a 15x5 wheel with a 6.50-15 tire. Also, did the '42 Special come with 16x5 wheels and if so, when did they start using 6" wide wheels? Thanks for the help.

I believe both the owners manual and the shop manual for that year (neither of which I have handy) list what wheels and tires were standard and optional for each series.
