i recently bought a 1970 dodge d200 crewcab lwb with the 383. i found out the king pins need replacing and the shop wants a 1,000 just in labor to do it. im not stupid and i know that it should not cost this much, so i want to try and do it myself. so before anyone falls off of there chair laughing keep in mind i do have a 2 year degree in automotive tech and i know my way around under the hood as i have been restoring a packard for some time. but my main problem is i have no experience with king pin removal or installation, any help on the correct procedure would be helpfull.
thanks in advance
tom
